Work is the easy part.
Life is what’s left.
We built Tisser on one uncomfortable idea: the work was never the hard part. The hard part is everything the work eats — the evening, the weekend, the attention you owe to people who aren’t your inbox. So we made the execution trivial and left you the only thing that was ever actually the point.
Why we exist
Sixty-seven tools. None of them signed off.
Most marketing teams didn’t adopt AI. It arrived — one tab at a time, on personal logins, with nobody’s name on the output. Fast, ungoverned, and quietly terrifying to anyone who has to answer for what ships.
We’re here for the person holding that bag: the marketing lead who is on the hook for the work, the brand, and now the machines. Tisser gives them one governed door instead of sixty-seven open tabs.

The name
We were AI Opener. Then we found a better word.
We started as AI Opener, building the governed environment where AI does real commercial work. The engineering was right; the name only said what we did, not what it felt like when it worked.
tis·ser — French, verb
To weave — many separate threads pulled into one finished cloth, which is exactly what a team of agents does under one brand memory.
Say it out loud in Dutch and it becomes ’t is er: “it’s done.” Both meanings, one word. When the work is finished, there’s nothing left to announce. Just: Tisser.
AI Opener becomes Tisser on 1 September 2026. Same team, same people, same agreements — a new name that better tells what we do. Read the announcement (Dutch).
How we’re different
AI drafts. A named human decides.
Plenty of companies will sell you AI that acts on its own. We think that’s the part they’ll regret. At Tisser the machines do the drafting; a named person does the deciding — and nothing reaches the public until they say so. It isn’t a setting you switch off. It’s the shape of the product.
Four controls hold it together, in every AI Team, every time.
Control 1
Brand contract
The agents work from one agreed record of how you sound, what you claim, and what you never say.
Control 2
Publish gate
Nothing ships until a named human approves it. The gate is a person, not a checkbox.
Control 3
Audit trail
Every step is logged, with who and when — so the work can be explained after the fact, not just trusted before it.
Control 4
EU data residency
The platform runs in EU datacenters. Your prompts, outputs and brand sources stay in the EU.
Built for the rules
The accountability isn’t optional anymore.
Since 2 August 2026, the EU AI Act’s transparency duties (Article 50, Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) land on the team that publishes AI-made work — not on the vendor that made the tool. Get it wrong and the exposure runs to €15M or 3% of global turnover (Article 99(4)). The exemption the law leaves you is, in effect, a person: a named human who reviews and holds editorial responsibility.
That’s the human Tisser was already built around. Governed AI isn’t the cautious choice here — it’s the one that scales.

The people
Founder-led — the people who sell it build it.
We’re a Dutch company, not a hyperscaler. When you book a call it’s 30 minutes with a founder, not an SDR — because the people who position Tisser are the same people who build and install it. We started as AI Opener, running workshops and implementations for teams at bol., Equans, Tony’s Chocolonely and Basic-Fit. Tisser is that team with a product and a sharper spine.

The fastest way to understand Tisser is to watch a piece of work go from AI draft to a named human’s approval — logged on the way.
